Pre-feasibility study for Corpen Aike project – 4.2 GW electrolysis and 2.6 MTPA green ammonia plant, Argentina
The objective of the project was to support the client in conducting a pre-feasibility study for the implementation of a power-to-X facility, which was planned to comprise a renewable energy plant, a hydrogen generation plant, and an ammonia synthesis plant in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. Fichtner identified the optimal project concept with the aim of minimizing the levelized cost of ammonia (LCOA) and provided a Class 5 estimate of CAPEX and OPEX for the overall project.
