Feasibility study for the "Vientos Magallánicos" project, Chile

The subject of this project was the execution of a feasibility study for the implementation of a Power-to-X facility, which was planned to consist of a renewable energy plant, a hydrogen production plant, and an ammonia synthesis plant. The planned facility was designed to produce approximately 84,000 tons of hydrogen and 475,000 tons of ammonia per year. The feasibility study enabled a fundamental assessment and comparison of the concepts in order to identify the most advantageous option(s) for further project development. The estimates for CAPEX and OPEX were prepared according to AACE Class 4 standards, with an accuracy of -40% to +40%.
