Development concept for hydrogen production in an energy park
Fichtner is the technical advisor to Solar 21 for the development and procurement of the North Lincolnshire Green Energy Park (NLGEP). Various low carbon technologies were reviewed including hydrogen production via electrolysis. The electrolyser considered was a 10 MW electrolyser for hydrogen production. The hydrogen use cases proposed were the following applications: refuelling hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), hydrogen injection into the natural gas grid; and conversion to electricity via a fuel cell.
